I live on a farm in Stantonville, Tennessee, near Selmer and Shiloh with my parents and eight siblings. I sewed my first garment shortly before I turned 12 years old, under the instruction of my good friend, Becky Oliver, and her mother. On my 14th birthday the Oliver family spent the evening at our house. They brought me a special gift - fabric (already cut in pieces!) to make a baby outfit for my brother, who was born six weeks later. That evening Becky helped me sew the outfit, and since that day I have loved sewing baby clothes! I had little sisters and brothers to sew for several years and have sewn professionally for over 10 years.
